Default Preview: NEW Enkei wheel for Discount Tire, opinions?

Here's a design that we would like your opinion on, What do you think? what sizes would you want to see? What finishes? What offsets?

This wheel is one we are working on now, it's release date would be sometime around Feb 2008. Would you buy it? Pricing would be along the same lines as it is now for current Enkei wheels.

good-looking wheel.

has an edgy look without looking trendy

maybe a little lip on the rim. I'd hate to hit those spokes on an accidental curb...

that would look good on my xA
(assuming it came in 4x100)

If it comes in Gun Metal or Hyper Black finish and 18" to 19" sizes I'd absolutely buy it. If it only comes in Silver I'd probably buy it. I already like it as much or better than anything else I've seen on www.discounttiredirect.com

Very clean but not boring with nice subtle offset flaring where the spokes meet the hub. I also like the thin-edged lip. I think it'd look great on my xB2. I have the Gun Metal TRD 19" right now but I'd definitely consider changing to those depending on what finishes/sizes they come in.

I really like that. I'd go with it over straight silver. Black accentuates the thin lip. In general I like black just not as much as Gun Metal or Hyper Black. To me black wheels can look a bit like steelies with no hubcaps from a distance. Gloss Black over Flat black helps that a bit though.

Chrome. 20. Good offset for the xB2.

I'm not a fan of the "tuner" look on these. I think the larger size of the second generation xB's are more of an SUV.

what's the weight and will it have a concave look? (like Work CRKai in a 9.5" width sort of way.)

The spokes definitely dip-in a bit near the hub. I like the spider-leg effect.

I changed my mind. I'll take it in Gloss Black/Machined Lip.

Love it how it is. I'd go with a Bronze or even the Dark Anthracite Enkei likes to use....

How would you do black since the spokes and rim are one surface with no separation?

Manufactures and pinpoint where they want a polished finish and where they want a color.

Very cool to know cuz I like how you did the black/silver lip on it. Although I wouldn't mind it in all black either like cz3ch mentioned.

Is it going to be strictly high offset? What about a low offset with some lip. Big thing now is staggered offsets. What will the width's be? 19x8 and 19x9 staggered with a +40 offset woud be sweet fitment for an '08. But the styling screams 1st gen. Maybe 8" wide with a +19F and +10R for 1st gen flushness in varying sizes.

Black with a red lip would be nice. Also, I cant tell if those extra holes are threaded or not but getting rid of those and making it a single bolt pattern wheel would give it a cleaner look.

10 holes so it can fit 2 different bolt patterns.

Any of these would be good-

1.Gloss black/polished lip
2.Gunmetal/polished lip
3.Solid Gloss black
4.Solid Gunmetal
