We're thinking of releasing overlays for the B pillar for the tC. They would apply like all of our other overlays. We would like to gauge everyones interest for these overlays, and see if there is a demand for them.

Here are some examples of other cars Bat has done the overlays for.

Post up here if you would like these, or if you think they're cool or...not so cool. Your feedback is appreciated!

if they were real c/f and not just another fake looking c/f sticker that would be cool , but scion and other manufactures already have you beat on those kinda things and by now there prices are not that bad

just my cents but other sl members might think different.

cheap alternative might be appealing for money stricken scion owners so you never know !

^^^Yep I know that there are already appiques for the B pillar. They are usually priced from $50-75 dollars, and our overlays would be around the $20 range.

I have a suggestion for a new overlay idea, let me know if this will fly with bluebatmobile..

how about a overlay for the reverse lights that has symbols or letters in the center..

i.e. the cutout will be the clear part and the surrounding area would be red like the lens?

Im wondering if this would be street legal, since the picture part is still clear?

just a thought.

I would like to see an overlay insert for that round part of the door handle, i'm not sure if you guys know what I'm talking about but that would be cool

BUMP!!

Personally I would not be interested in it. IMO there already is the oem applique kit available.

I just dont see too many people going for cf vinyl b piller overlays IMO.

The oem one has the extra depth, 3-d texture and thick coat as opposed to the vinyl which is a flat print.

personally I dont think there will be a demand for another alternative.

I like that idea. Installation would be a pain though.

As for the B-pillar, the idea is OK but it's lacking in the execution. Maybe a more realistic looking vinyl would be better. I don't need 'em though as I already have the Scion accessory ones.

We're actually working on that as well as overlays for the door handle!

^^I think he means the recessed area behind the door handle. The part that gets scratched up from peoples fingernails.

Im gonna vote no, only because theres real CF available for the b-pilars and more convincing looking CF vinyl out their for all your other needs. And Scionpartspeople sell the applique for $44 bux, which is like $53 ish shipped I think.

What WOULD be neat if someone could make the EXACT same quality applique that superior dash makes, but without the tC logo on there. Not that I dislike my tC or anything. I just want to be debadged. Its sexy.

Yeah, the 'tC' on there kinda bugs me...

My vote would be no as well. I personally don't believe in fake/synthetic carbon fiber vinyl material. They don't look terrible, just not my style.
