My First Post; My First Scion : )

"Stella" is what I call her. Named after my favorite beer!

...I purchased my '08 xB BBC last month after retiring my '00 Solara...

...but I must say, i'm EXTREMELY satisfied thus far. XB2 FTW!!! -- definitely the best bang for your buck!

My meager MODS thus far:

- spoiler
- tint: 35% front / 20% back and rear
- hollandia 524 panoramic sunroof (by far, my favorite...!)
- Mobile HID 5000k (thanks Clifford!)
- Tanabe NF210s
- Viper 5900 with remote start
- ghetto custom hubcaps (painted them flat black..lol)

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone here on ScionLife. What a wealth of information. Glad to be aboard!

i like the pictures, but the "ghetto custom hubcaps" are throwing me off. it is too bad the dealer put on the front plate.

Any chance you can post some more pics of the sunroof? Like one from the top (perhaps take a pic from a 2nd story balcony or something like that!?) and maybe one from the hatchback looking in? So cool! Thanks!!

I bought my first xb back in July. One of those Silver stock models with automatic. I did a lot of research on the first generation and when the second came out I made my play. I am very pleased. The quality is there and more standard equipment than any vehicle I've owned. Note that I am 64 years old! My 63 year old girl friend called it a mini-hearse but she loves it and the comfortable ride. I like almost everything about it and the price was right. I just can't pay $30,000 for a vehicle. So the xb appeals to all ages.
