Default Wheel shops keep messing up the paint on my rims

i drove to vegas recently for a vacation. on the way there i noticed that my steering wheel was shaking terribly at speeds over 65. i figured that a simple tire balancing would solve it so i took my car to discount tires there and the dumba$$ tech chipped my wheel paint. not scratched but chipped! like he took a hammer to it or sumthing. i specifically told them to be extra careful as Les swab here in sac did the same thing bout a month ago. so this will be the third time i paint my wheels. grrrrrr. the manager at discount tire said he will pay for the damages when i fax him a copy of the reciept. i will take care of it tomorrow. maybe its a sign to get new wheels. has anyone else ever experienced this too?

i painted my stock wheels black, and when i went to toyota to get a stud replaced i told them the same thing to be careful with the pain. I got the wheel back with a decent size chip in it. They tried to tell me it was like that when i brought it in. But i knew it wasen't. The steering wheel shaking i have never had. Thats kinda scary .

i forced my mazda dealership to replace one of the stock racing hart wheels on my mazdaspeed protege when one of their techs got trigger happy with an impact wrench and chipped the h/ell out of one of the bolt holes. i was ____ed. those things were over $500 new from the dealer and i wasn't about to buy a new one myself. they were all mint with the exception of the one they screwed up. got it fixed tho

yea the techs there at those kinda places are idiots. more than half of them don't know what the hell they doin. they need to use impact wrenches to take the lugs off only.

well looks like im screwed. the powdercoating place says they can re-do my rims in one solid color only. either white or black...not both. so i was thinking it would be easier to paint the rim black then mask off the spokes and spray the lips with white wheel paint. i guess its gonna be another 3 days worth of work for me again.
