Default Pics that I entered into the Scion F-Stop Photo Contest

What's up guys! I finally made time to do a couple shoots with my car to enter into the Scion F-Stop contest. I submitted these this morning but wanted to run it by you guys to see whatcha think! BTW i'm pretty noob to the photography scene but have heavy influence from those import car magazines (especially the moving car/rig shots). Let me know what you think! Comments appreciated!

Meh, they are composed well for the most part ... but they just aren't sharp. Not as sharp as they could be. And they look a little over processed.

Maybe they would be better if you were shooting with a Nikon ;)

The XTi is a lot of camera, very capable ... it really is just a matter of using the correct settings. The important thing to remember, especially because you do not have IS, is that you can ALWAYS fix a noisy image, but you can't fix a blurry image.

You are much better off shooting ISO1600, have a sharp image, and fix the noise later in post processing.

Good luck!
