Default Anyone ever see an XA RS 1.0 on the road?

Besides my own, I haven't seen any other XA RS 1.0s driving around. I know there aren't a whole lot out there yet, but have any of you seen them about? Truth is, I have only seen 3 XA's EVER. I see lots of XBs. I don't think I've seen a TC. I don't know though, they aren't as distictively different, so I may have seen one.

P.S. Just a little vent on my part, nothing to do with this thread, but... MY 5 YEAR OLD (autistic) SON HAS BEEN CLIMBING ALL OVER MY XA!!!! O.k., now I feel a little better. A little. Ugh. Little hand prints all over, even on the roof! Scratches. I haven't caught him yet, not that it will do any good, he doesn't speak. Alright, sorry folks, just had to get that out, my husband just laughs at me, so can't vent to him! :? He does not understand my obsession with my little car.

Good luck in keeping it clean. Nothing can be kept clean and nice around kids! ; ) Just wait until they start chewing gum, eating chocolate, taking friends along inside, playing by it, running things into it, etc.. ; )

They had an xA RS1 at Scion Night at Marine World. It looked pretty sweet. I think the xB RS2 should be that color instead of Yellow.

Yeah, kids just don't get it. Mine are 7 and 4 and have basically destryoed the Grand Caravan, I won't let them do the same to my Box...

Saw one on the freeway the other day...we ended up cruising together for about 10 miles (at 100mph....yes the pedal was floored in my Box). The number of stares and double-takes as we would pass a car were priceless as they gawked at the xA then at my xB....heh. Good stuff.

or, they were thinking, "those f*ckers are crazy and are going to kill somebody!!!"
or, "Oh sh*t, what the hell was that?!?!?"

It's pretty startling getting passed by somebody at that speed when you don't expect it. You feel you are only taking your own life into your own hands, but you can also CAUSE accidents by passing people at that rate of speed. I've seen it first hand and it's startled me before too!

I like to drive fast sometimes like everybody else. I've done over 20 race track events. I've competed in races and teach high performance driving skills at the race track. I've also done 170mph in my 300ZX TwinTurbo. But, #!@%, I drive like that on the street or pass somebody at too fast of a speed at the risk of causing an accident for somebody else, just so I can get my thrill.

God help you if you happen to fly by like that past my wife when she's distracted by our screaming or fighting kids in the car, and you startle the crap out her to the point she jerks the car to the right thinking your going to hit her,
she smacks into somebody/something else, and before you know it I've lost my family.

It's happened before and I know of people who have lost loved ones due to young folks trying to have a little fun.

If you want to drive fast, please keep it on the race track and be aware of others

I45 South here in Texas at 11pm at night moves at 90-95mph, so we weren't exactly flying past people.... I don't race peeps on the street, one of my friends ended up in the hospital when his tire hit some road debris and the other died, but point taken. Should have specified better.. apologies.

Hello again BeckySue!

I haven't seen any other RS1.0s other than my own either. Although, my father called me on his cell the other day. He was down in central Kentucky making a sales call at a pharmacy and he says he saw one there. He drove by it i guess. That's the only other one I've heard of anyone seeing.

I confess though, that he wasn't sure that it wasn't a red Matrix. He's reasonably certain.

Look forward to meeting you.

On another note; The reason you see more Lavas is they tend to stand out more than the standard colors. The same is true for the XA rs1. You tend to notice the RS's because of the different color and the fact that you know they are different and special.
