like i said, i was going to minnesota from my place in chicagoland, and i was cruising on the highway doing 70-ish, i push the petal down... it sounds like to torque converter unlocked, because the revs went up by like... 300...i matted the gas pedal...downshifts into 3rd, pulls normally... i let off the gas...and it's sitting there in third screaming like a cat with it's tail in a woodchipper.

i hit the overdrive off button, and the light lights up, then i press it again, and it goes back into fourth.

and the rest of my trip i had to manually trigger third and fourth with that button.

the car's at 35 and some change, is this an easy fix, or should i take it into the scion dealer ?

also... 29 mpg, all highway. and all i have is an axleback exhaust and a CAI. when i got this stupid thing it got 34 combined and cracked off 38 all highway on this same trip back in january...
