Default NEW TRD WHEELS!!!

Hey guys i was lookin through TRD SPARKS and saw these TRD wheels it looks pretty decent i might pick these up. And i got a question too on the discription it sed "TPMS ready" ive heard that the 06 and the 08 have tpms but different type system. So if the 06 uses the ABS system that means that there is no TPMS chip on the wheel right, and the 08's have the actual TPMS chip on the wheel. I was wondering if anyone can enlighten me on that topic.

For all tC's 2007 forward, the wheels have a Tire Pressure Measuring Sensor (TPMS). It is a small device that sits on each wheel inside the tire and wirelessly transmits data to the cars computer about tire pressure.

The earlier 2006 and down tC's use the ABS method and have no little sensor on the wheel.

When the description reads TPMS Ready, it just means that the wheels are able to fit and accept the TPM Sensor.

fyi ... if you're getting them through your dealer, plan on $2000 for the set.

They've been out for a little while now. We have a set on display in the corporate accessory center. They look nice, but I'd prefer to have them gloss black instead of flat black.

the only reason why this will work is because the rim is 8 inches, so it wont look too tucked.
