Default 19" Crosshairs???

i gotta silver tc and i was wondering if i should get 18" or 19" wheels. would 19x8 rub with a h-tech drop? how about an s-tech drop? In other words, how would my everyday driving be affected?

i saw someone on here with a tc that had a drop that was at least 2 inches, and he had the 19 inch crosshairs and it looked sick. i dont know about rubbing but it looked sooo sick. and as for everyday driving... its just a given that with bigger rims and the stiffer/lower springs the ride quality will decrease, but the performance will improve. personally i would only do 19's if you have a lip kit. but thats just me.

this may sound stupid but what is a lip kit used for? and when you say ride quality, do you mean the ride wont be as smooth?

a lip kit is just like a really mild body kit. it basically makes the car look lower without actually lowering it. i love 19's but i think the tC kinda looks like a monster truck with huge wheels and no lip kit, it just finishes the look for me. and yes, when i say ride quality will decrease, i mean the ride wont be as smooth i.e. you will feel more bumps in the road and such.

These are 18" on a TRD drop. No rubbing, the ride is a little stiffer, and it's a little slower accelerating because the crosshairs are HEAVY!! The 19" would be even heavier.

does your 0-60 accelaeration slow down by a very noticable difference with 19s?

It's noticeable with the 18". My wife has the 18" crosshairs and I can feel the difference compared to 18" wheels on my tc. My wheels are lighter.

19"ultralight kyowa rims weigh less then most 18" ive weighed sitting on some tein-s no rubbing.By going with 19s did not change my performance at all.Hondas come with 13s or 14s they usaully upgrade to 15s or 16s.Thats the way i look at it.
