Dammit... car is only 6 weeks old and the double sided sticky tape on those cheap plastic 'side skirts' has already lost it's adhesiveness. Right now it's not TOO bad, on both sides in the rear about 4" is loose, but that only means it's gonna get worse. Gotta get the car in for the 5k maintenance in a few weeks, I'll talk to the dealer about it then. won't be hard to fix myself if it comes to it, but there doesn't appear to be anything but tape holding those things on, no screws/clips (didn't look hard, don't quote me on that)

I noticed mine was loose a few weeks after I got it. Just had too much on my mind to take it in for that, I'm waiting till my 5k service also.

 

LOL. i hate dealerships. i made my 5k appointment for the car. which, first off, the guy said scion only does oil changes, not the tire rotating, visual inspection (that the manual clearly spell out it does)

Told em about the ground effects, and he told me i had to take the car to the body shop. said it was more than adhesive holding it on. omg, i almost cussed that guy out. i hate when i know more about my car then the people who are going to be working on it do.
