JoelXb 10-21-2004, 05:24 PM Hey Hawaiian
Yea looks really nice, your rides is one of things that got me thinking about it when i saw it on the site
Im pricing this stuff out now if u dont mind what did those stripes run you i got a price today and its seems really high so not sure if the guy is trying to take me for extra cash or this is just a pricy job
But yea im almost postive im going with silver now probably bit lighter than what u have and i might go with the extra little line the lava has also still thinking about that one
the racing stripes look like they were made for a box!
looks really good
TOAST3R 10-21-2004, 08:34 PM heres what i came up with one day if i was to get my rims painted and stripes

im trying to stick with the black and white theme right now, i dunno if id want stripes on it. i had stripes on my 90 prizm, it was funny. i sold it to some guy and still see it around town.

Djbombsquad 10-21-2004, 11:54 PM I still don't know how to load a picture.

JOELXB:
My friend's shop charged me about $50.00 for the vinyl and I installed it myself.
If you have someone from a shop install it for you, it can get really pricey...

JoelXb 10-22-2004, 07:39 PM doh, u see that would be perfect lol
But im not good with stuff like this if i put those vynils on probably wouldnt come out as clean as yours look, but damn is the installation really worth the money they charge, thats the only thing that gets me, the whole job he said was gonna cost me $400 with the grill and all like yours, but ____ 350 for labor alone thats seems a bit much, what is this a 2 hour job for somebody who does it everyday so its like 125 an hour for labor. sigh
Gonna have to shop around a bit more i really want them but i dont think its worth 400 unless some of you guys who know more about this than me disagree? I will pay the 400 if thats just the going price but something dont seem right about it
was hoping to get them installed this week to with the lowering springs oh well gotta hav patients i guess

Ahhh...the Public School system's math classes pay off again. $350 / 2 = $175
Installation is not hard, just take your time and do the 'wet' method of installation, that way nothing is final until you are ready for it to be. Also blue painters tape works good as a "guide" for where to start, that way it's easy to get it straight/centered/spaced perfectly.

JoelXb 10-22-2004, 08:56 PM haha dammit
yea the math classes paid off lol, i did that post quick when i was at work, while i was on the way home i was thinking about the vynil and noticed the math was off was hoping to get back in time to change it
