Is there a way to use TRDs CAI withe TRDs S\C ?
If so would there be a benifit ?
I am putting the S\C on my 06 TC and already have a CAI from TRD
If not I guess Ill be selling the CAI

PS getting the ECU flash done is a pain in the a**
No dealers in my area had the tool, had to ship the ECU to CA. to get the flash done
If you are thinking of doing this yourself you may want to check dealers in your area shipping, insurance and flash ended up over 300.00

 

yeah, i think you'll have to cut it up though. your car will run very lean.

 

i don't think you can use the intake with in conjunction with the supercharger. if you go to a cusotm shop im sure they can make you a custom intake for the supercharger. just make sure its mandrel bent and not crush bent. --OR-- I'm not a big fan of weapon-r.....anything, but weapon-r makes an intake for the supercharger. go to racingsolution.com and click "scion tc" on the left side. then scroll down until you see it.

 

I would say that if you are trying to get everything out of the supercharger that you can, get an E-manage and have a custom shop to custom fit the intake and dyno tune it. The e-manage is going to be necessary anyways if you are going to be doing anything else like swapping out supercharger pulleys to get more boost.
