Ok, so I wasn't to keen on the 08 taillights when I first saw them. The chrome piece on top stood out too much for me, so I smoked it! Wow, what a difference! I really like the end result . Tails look blacked out with the lenses clearly visible . Enjoy!

That's badass. How is this done? is it just the overlay or did you split the taillight?? I am definetly interested in doing this.
Now if there was only a way to get the chrome rings to match the car color. That would be cool.

 

It's an overlay. It looks good, it makes me want those tails even more now.

wow I just checked pricing, thats a great deal. I'm so torn between smoking out the whole lense, just the top chrome portion, or just the bottom portion. Thats pretty much every option possible, but they all look sick.

that looks great.......I thought they lost their minds making the front black on top after all these years and the taillight now is chrome on top........I may have to get this for mine.......

 

are those the lights that go on the front of the car? haven't paid much attention to the 08's

 

I have tyhe Overlay that smokes just the bottom portion as well
