Default help restoring color to black plastic trims

hi,

i'd like some help with recommendations for polish or wax or whatever which will restore color to sun-faded plastic areas, especially the ones around the door mirrors & the front screen wipers on the car's exterior.

they are starting to get grey & washed out.

or is it too late?

thanks.

thanks Psyco565,

i just googled it, looks like amazing stuff. doesn't look like it's available in japan, though. unless it's marketed under a different name.

would you be interested in fed-exing or air-mailing a bottle over to me in exchange for something from japan about the same size & price?

or do you have any other recommedations i can try google in japanese?

i'll see check back later, after a trip to autobacs. maybe there's somebody in there who has heard of the stuff, or soemthing similar.

ha ha!!!! i don't know. like what?

i didn't have time to go to autobacs yet, but my biggest fear is somebody there recommending something that will end up corroding the paint. so, if anybody has any other recommendations which might be available over here, i'm still all ears.

Forever Black Trim Conditioner is reportedly the best out there (even better than Mother's). Someone did a side-by-side test with I think 4 or 5 different brands of this product, that I found in my search for the best. I have it and it worked very well on my 10 Y/O Wrangler fender flares. It's so dark and the flares were so light, that it was streaky and I had to do several coats. It hasn't faded at all, which is the biggest problem with these, apparently.

I found the test!:

Prolly can't get that in Japan, either, though!

I've found Meguiar's Trim Detailer to keep the under wiper panel black for about two months.
