Default one sick boosted TC...RWD

Scion has cars now in every class in NHRA Sport Compact Racing.

This last one made its debut at the NHRA event in Englishtown last weekend.

Modified class TC ....SICK

Very Impressive.

Enjoy

What kind of tranny/engine is that? It almost looks like a 2AZ, but I can't think of any cars which use it, and are RWD.

There is actually all of the the stock TC left, they have to as is dictated by the Modified class rules.

Hope to see the car in person

It's the same motor that comes stock in the SW20 MR2. SICK potential for those ... WOW that is a big snail.

Its cool and all, but for some reason I am not to impressed. its not like its really a scion. It s a scion body, but what makes it go fast, has ZERO to do with scion.

Sadly I agree, I thought this was gonna be some guy(or girl)'s tC that they dumped K's into to make it RWD

Our motor isn't a Scion, it's a Toyota. So who cares if they transplant another Toyota drive train into the Scion body? Almost the same as our original scion shell/toyota drivetrain.

But that is what comes in the Scion. it was all my personal opinion. Take it or leave it.

I know it's your opinion but you contradict yourself with the bolded part. All our car is, is a scion shell.

Our scions are powered by a toyota Camry motor. It's not a special motor for our tC's. it's a borrowed powerplant from a toyota camry. So how does it take all away from our tC if it is still the same shell with a toyota MR2 powerplant?

Awesome car but I wanna have a 2AZ w/ RWD. Why? So I don't have to spend the fabricating and R&D lol. Great set-up nonetheless

Would it be possible to mount our stock engines the way the engine above is mounted to make our cars rwd? that would be cool

you would have to do a lot of other work besides the angle of the motor. don't forget about the drive shaft, rear end, etc... that goes with the rear wheel drive

A scion comes with an engine. reguardless of where it comes from. it is what scion gave it.

its like saying a WRX isnt a wrx because it comes with a porsche engine. ALOT OF COMPANIES BORROW ENGINES FROM PLATFORM TO PLATFORM.

I love that engine. I had dreams of dropping the 3sgte into my old Corolla.

PS....The Celica GT4 also came with a 3sgte.

Well, in all honesty, it's been pretty boring here lately. So, spending most of my time on my350z.com and going sidewayz around corners... Trying to get things squared away before the Nov. 24th drift event. Got to change the LSD, Tranny fluids, and get new brake pads.

That and doing my Scikotics things.
