Default New Head Unit

Hey guys, I was looking to upgrade the head unit on my tC, and was wondering if you had any experience/suggestions you could give me.

Also, I currently have the direct MP3 hookup to my stereo. If I replace the head unit, will there be any way to maintain that?

Edit: Should've specified. I'm looking to spend about $200-300

Alright guys, after looking around I've found.

http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...833974,00.html $289.99

http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...818745,00.html $205.92

http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/prod...model=iDA-X001 $273.95

http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/prod...model=CDA-9887 $315.99

All those prices are from amazon.com. Do you guys have any experience with any of these?

you make it had for us to choose.
I really like Pioneer stuff. Alpine is also a good brand.
You can go to best buy.Im pretty sure they will have all of those on display. Mess around with them for awhile and see what you like

GO with cda 9887 it is one of the best out right now u might end up having to fork out another 250$ later down the line for the new imprint technology that automatically tunes your radio depending where you sit.

Go with the pioneer, I like their h/u's better than alpine. I have the 7900bt and I love it, alpines are good too,

I lurve my Kenwood DDX-7015. The music interface is a bit lacking, but the screen size and quality for DVD playback is awesome.

i love pioneer decks. ive had experience owning 4 of them (2 of them sold to upgrade, 2 are in my cars) and i love them. if you are looking at the 7900bt.. i say see if you can push and get the 9800bt.. THAT SCREEN IS SUPER SWEET! :D

and its prolly just me, but the pioneer interface just makes sense to me and having the OEL screen also helps alot.. many of the alpines i got felt like it had a learning curve.. but thats just me and my experience with Pioneer decks vs. Alpine. Pioneer ftw! :D

I would like the 9800bt, but it is just too expensive.
