Scanguage / GPS location on dash...?
Im debating getting the Scanguage, or a GPS device... my question is where do you guys put those devices? There is so much blank space near the steering wheel and im looking for some good ideas ...
I've been giving the scangauge a good hard look, too. I think it would sit nicely on the column right behind the wheel. Only issue is the curve of the panel, so you'd have to (a) not care about the gaps on the sides (b) fab a spacer, or (c) cut a groove in the plastic panel.
I'm looking at fabbing a spacer myself, but all in, I'd rather run a full carpc that just the scangauge. It's all a matter of $$$

Got mine on the steering column useing the supplied velcro strip. So far so good. Adds a nice sporty touch to the car and the cable snakes nicely over the column just above the ignition switch and into the dash. I love how people think its for a cd changer or satellite radio, untill I show them what it does.
Steering column... nice!!!!
I was thinking of poping out my ash-tray, and putting it there(its down lower.. might be more difficult to see vs. the steering column , but it can be angled up to see better @ ash-tray loc.). Its one of the next 2 things I'm planning on buying... also HID kit.
