I have a car that was tricket out. YOu have to sell this car to a private party to get anything of what you want for it. However no one will buy this car. No dealerships would want it bc there not sure what to do with it. Alot of dealerships are idiots when it comes to modifations and dont know what scion is all about. The place i was working with was great and i cant say enough good things. No one will buy a tC that hooked up with coverage from magazines and shows for 34000 hell no

If you mod a car you do it to do it........and in the end you hope to get a fair private aprty buyer that sees what you saw and wnats it......i think she will get it.......

Have you ever thought that maybe she is just gauging interest, putting the feelers out to see what it might be worth???

It may not sell for the initial amount, however it is better to start high....She probably is listing it in multiple regions, as any smart person would. People drive far distances to find the right vehicle.

In addition, you aren't getting just a car.....the extras you get just by owning the car have value as well.

Next time think before you go talking ish on the boards!!!! It may just be your .02, but keep it positive.

If one wants to compete and win in a handful a car shows, this car is perfect and so is the price. There will be a special someone hopefully that will snatch it up. I will never be on the side of those who suppose, support, or accept that modified cars should not be worth more. Someone with enough respect and the right mind will find it. In the spirit of the Scion dynamic, good luck!

ALRIGHT ALRIGHT! ENOUGH!!! I don't sign on to SL for a day and I come back to this! :P

1.) Yes, the car is up for sale. Sad but true. All good things must eventually come to an end.

2.) Although the car may not actually SELL for that price, that is the posted price. Thus why there is an OBO option. The car has $40K+ worth of modifications on top of the price of the car. I think $34,995 is a good starting point.

3.) Don't have anything nice to say - don't say anything at all. Wow, the golden rule and yet so many seem to forget it!

4.) The car is being sold because it's just that time to sell it. I've had a ball building and showing my car over the past few years and now it's time to let someone else enjoy it!

5.) Don't worry - something new is already in the works. That's how this game works. :P (Details to come later)

There is no way in hell I'm ever leaving SL or walking away from all the friends I've made both online and in person. :) To all the negative comments, you are all entitled to your opinions and no matter how much you bicker about the price, there is always SOMEONE out there in the world that wants what someone else is selling.
