Default Anyone have racing headers installed?

I'm trying to find a way to make my car faster. I already have an intake installed and want to do a couple more engine mods to speed things up a bit. I was told getting headers and an exhaust might help, but others say it's just for sound effects.
Anyone want to help a girl out and let me know?

best header is Alpha Werk, but they don't make them anymore.
You will only able to get used.
Another one is Monster Motor header, I head they have the best hp gain. I have no experience with them.

I have DC header. it is $300. i like it a lot . It probably add about 7hp to the wheel.

A header is by far the best "gain" you will get without boost/nitrous, but you will probably spend a LOT on a new exhaust to quiet it down

I guess a cute avatar goes a long way with the guys on here...

I will be nice and say go with the header, s-pipe, and a new rear section to open it up and get some more hp out of the motor. you can also swap the pulleys out for some NST lite weight to spin faster. just depends on what your budget is and how far you want to go.

also, look for used stuff on here for the exhaust. you can usually find header on here for cheap

Also some pulleys can help out alot... but if your looking for that gain and sound you might want to go with a catback exhaust...

I am about to have an Alphawerks header, invidia downpipe and a custom cat back system put on my tC. I already have a intake dyno, i'll post link to the after exhaust install dyno. I know it will show more power then just the header install but it will give you an idea of power gains from some exhaust work.
