Purchase, install, paint... anything else needed. I may consider it for my '07 FM.. shadow12one 10-18-2007, 01:12 PM Look to spend over $1000 on the kit alone. DONT buy anything for $600 or $700. I wouldnt trust it if its less than $1000. Those replica kits are crap. Get an authentic kit which will be Urethane. Anything other than that is fake. lil_will 10-18-2007, 01:18 PM Paid $1300 to have mine painted and installed. rolloutrs1 10-18-2007, 01:44 PM i paid about $1450 to have it painted and installed. look to spend around the $1200 to $1500 mark for paint and installation from a good shop. Guru 10-18-2007, 01:49 PM $1600 painted and installed. Never used the side skirts though so have those in the for sale forum. Checho 10-18-2007, 02:00 PM 1300 painted and installed PLUS 1000 for the kit??? or 1300 Kit, install, AND paint? PlayinWithFire 10-18-2007, 04:17 PM yea look to be spending around 2500 total for a top notch job. If you are spending less, you are getting screwed over somewhere. Cheap kits = poor fitment which leads to a higher install Cheap install/paint = poor quality, paint doesnt match/flow, orange peel... etc. You get what you pay for and quality doesnt come cheap! shadow12one 10-18-2007, 05:06 PM Yup, just like with going turbo. Understand and accept that putting on a body kit is very expensive if you dont want it to look like rice. If you're serious about getting a kit, and you want it to look great then dont look for cheap, look for quality. Alot of people dont understand that fixing issues will cost them more down the road than doing it right the first time. So the general advice would be do research, not just post on a board. Figure out where you wanna get the kit from and how much it would run you. Then figure out how much the paintshops around you are charging. |
