Default Oznium Neon Install

I just bought a 12inch cathode kit to put in under the glovebox and under the steering wheel. A couple questions. Would the transformer that comes with the kit fit behind the headunit somewhere or where is the best place to put it? And what is the most effective wiring technique and will the wires for the cathodes stretch to plug into my fuse box under the steering wheel? thanks a lot

there is plenty of room to put behind the hu...wiring i have never done. in the fuse box on the inside of the car there is a constant hot whihc you can attach a switch to and attach your switch to your lights..the wires should be long enough the furthest one doesnt need to be longer than 4 ft.

You can extend the wires by rewiring it. Cut the white wires and do your power/ground and then connect it back to your white ones again and connect it to the transformer. Wala, you have more length to work with.

Have you read this? http://www.oznium.com/forum/topic11823

The transformer that comes with the kit will fit behind the lower dash.

The cathodes white wires will be long enough for the tC to place 1 transformer in the middle behind the lower dash and put one tube on each side under the dash.

The red and black power wires for the cathodes will need to be extended to reach the fuse box under the steering wheel.
