I've been looking around and theres a few places that sell them but in different lengths. I was wondering what size everyone else got if it's a 2 1/2, 4 or 5in. I just want to be able to get some radio reception.

I bought mine from a Honda dealership and they only had one length. No change in radio reception vs stock.

You sure they sell them in different lengths? I dont think those are S2K antennas then. Try another dealership if not maybe you want to get the Honda Element Antenna which is just as nice, it's very similar in design.

That's just some generic eBay antenna. Get the real S2K antenna if you want quality.

 

i went straight to honda and ordered an s2k antenna! i didnt want to take a risk with ebay! plus its only a couple bucks difference plus u get it the next day from honda! i like the s2k antenna look!

 

you can be cruel and if you see a s2k just switch it over q=P.

 

I wonder if all the S2K owners are buying up all the tC antennas.

yeah man dont buy it from ebay, you can check the PPC, theres probably someone selling one, but like everyone says, just go to honda and pick one up, theyre not too expensive

I have searched for a few of these antennas, and im wondering, Does the size affect the reception?

 

The real S2k is smaller but the reception is just as good as our long stock one. I think your answer depends on the maker of the ant. There were some small ones out there that had really bad reception.

 

If you put a smaller antenna on your car you will loose radio reception period. You may not notice it if you are close to the radio tower. It's just simple physics.

 

Cheapest place Ive found online. Make sure u put a dab of silicone or lock tite on it. Some a$$hole stole my first one.

ahaha! careful with those s2k antennas. ive heard of many stolen because they are easily unscrewed off.

 

a tip for that, is to use thread locker =))) thats what i did, no problems yet.

 

Yeah, thread-lock it and watch as some ásshole cuts it off with a hacksaw.
