HyperZ 10-24-2004, 03:29 AM Kinda hard to picture them on a lava lunchbox, but they'll probably look tight, from what I can imagine.
BLeeK 10-24-2004, 09:12 PM very very hot rims...I love the whole Axis line..
did you get the black reverbs? IMO they are the hottest with the machined lip..
digidj 10-24-2004, 11:12 PM No I got the gold and if it doesnt work out I can have them powder coated any color I want. Gold keeps with the color scheme of my car .
tinybigrig 10-26-2004, 02:16 AM are you sure they are gold, i used to work at axis and as of when i left they were thinking they might not ever brign in the gold.....i hope im wrong for your sake. im going by there tomm to pick up some wheels so ill scope it out

digidj 10-27-2004, 03:09 PM The reverbs are a new wheel and I had to shop around to find gold. It comes in gold and black.
digidj 10-27-2004, 05:19 PM They are on back order for the 17 inch wheels. I am looking at 18 inch to see if they will work.
BLeeK 10-27-2004, 08:54 PM ^^I thought the only 4-lug pattern was 19 and 20? maybe tinybigrig can clarify this for you and me....
digidj 10-27-2004, 09:37 PM I called Axis and the 18 inch with 4x100 is avalible. The 17 inch is not available yet not until after the first of the year.
JdMBboFSD 10-27-2004, 09:39 PM great rims, i might get those now......for my bcp......
tinybigrig 10-28-2004, 01:02 AM the wheels dont come 19 in for one, 17, 18, 20 only, and i think the only width availble in the 18 ion a 4x100 is the 7.5, not the 8.5 or 9.5

tinybigrig 10-28-2004, 01:24 AM i just talked to the wherehouse manager and he said all they had in gold were the 18x7.s in gold with a 4x100 bolt pattern, they are sold out of the 17 in ones

BLeeK 10-28-2004, 01:55 AM the reverbs are nice, very lightweight because of the hollowed spoke, I picked up a 20'' and it was unbeleivably light...
tinybigrig 10-28-2004, 02:14 AM 20 in weighs like 21 lbs i think

digidj 10-28-2004, 03:49 AM Axis told me that the 17 inch gold reverbs are still under development .Does anyone know if this is true or was he trying to get me to buy the 18 inch which are over 300.00 dollars more when you add the wheels and tires together. I cant believe anyone anymore after all the lying going on these days.Salesmen are such scum it stinks.
2tone_xB 10-28-2004, 04:00 PM Gold will go well with the Hot Lava.
Don't forget about pics later...
digidj 10-28-2004, 06:16 PM I am going to wait for the 17 inch wheels . So it will be after the first of the year.
tinybigrig 10-29-2004, 10:16 AM they wont be in till jan...thats what they told me, and they dont have any reason to lie to me, i left on more than good terms

digidj 10-29-2004, 04:04 PM I was able to get the black in 17 inch but not the gold from the dealer. Then Axis tells me that the 17 inch wheels were still under development. Then I was told that they had some but they sold out quickly . So you can see my reason for being suspicious . Who is lying and who is telling the truth.

If you were to believe anyone here on SL about Axis wheels, listen to tinybigrig. Brent knows whats going on.
digidj 10-29-2004, 10:28 PM Wheelsnext said they had the 17 inch in black but not gold . Axis told me the 17 inch was still under development. There is no difference but the color so why am I getting two different stories. Now someone else said they sold out right away on 17 inch gold wheels. Then how can that be since Axis themselves told me on the phone that the 17 inch wheels were still under development ???????? We are not seeing the complete picture here are we . So what is the truth and what is a lie it can't be both ways . I just want the truth that's all .
tinybigrig 10-30-2004, 10:19 AM they had them, but i believe all were already accounted for and prepaid for the 17in gold, they probably had less than 100 pieces come in on the can, so jusdging by how fast they went i would expect to see maybe 200 pieces in the gold 17in 4x100s in january....ill let you know if i hear of any slipping through the cracks, or coming back to axis, ill call them monday.,....or rather ill talk to james (the owner) on tuesday at sema

digidj 10-30-2004, 03:37 PM Tell him next time to tell the truth and he won't have a problem. I can find out anything as long as I have a computer and the internet and a telephone. They need to start to relize that. Salesmen have to be honest these days or they are caught right from the beginning . I only want two 17 inch wheels I want to do a miss match and put 18 inch in the back. So if he can connect me with two I will be greatful.
tinybigrig 10-31-2004, 10:39 AM it not always the sales fault, and it may not even be a saleman you were talking to, either way they are coming, and to put in word for them, sometimes they are told what to say in response, it may be the guy above them saying you must say x or y or whatever, all keep you up to date on it

digidj 10-31-2004, 04:29 PM I called a place in Texas and they were told the same thing, So this is what everyone is being told.
tinybigrig 11-05-2004, 11:24 PM little more update now, they only brought in like 16 wheels 4 sets to see if there was any ionterest, and now that they know there is they will have some in jan....thats the word

digidj 11-06-2004, 07:42 AM They screwed that one up then. I am not happy after all the research I did to find out that .And then getting lied to just so they could sell 18 inch wheels instead. What kind of people are they anyway. They are just out for the buck and nothing else. This does nothing for their credibility .
hotbox05 11-06-2004, 12:03 PM cough cough black with machined lip cough cough
digidj 11-11-2004, 01:45 AM Axis sent me a email today. They are still trying to sell me those over priced 18 inch wheels . With the tires it's almost $500.00 more. They just cant seem to get the hint.
rgrossman 11-13-2004, 02:43 AM Does anyone know what kind of lug nuts need to be used with Axis wheels? The stock cone style seem to fit good but I want to make sure. There seems to be many style of lugs.
tinybigrig 11-13-2004, 11:00 AM acorn type, id stay away from using the stock lugnuts, they have a shallower angle to them
