Hey guys. Last year I painted my stockers black. There is a LOT of flaking. And I took my time when I painted them. Even used about 5+ clear coats at the end.
I'm looking to buy a new set of rims. Black or grey. Now will rims (like Eneki) last without flaking for at least 3 years... or no.
I don't mind buying new rims once every 3 years, but every single year is a pain!

You might want to try powder coating them instead of painting them. What happens when you paint your wheels is that they are more suceptible to chipping and flaking due to rocks and elements from the road. Especially during the winter months. Powder Coating is alot more durable and will not be as suceptible to flaking as paint. It will be a better investment on your part if you choose powder coating. Let me know if you have any questions about the process, colors, or anything else!
