New Headlights. brighter than stock.
I have a 2006, I want brighter headlights.
Is there anything on the market brighter than Silverstars? Anyone have experience with other headlight brands?

Some options:
The 9005/9006 mod.
HIR bulbs
HID kit
HID retrofit (best choice)
Our bulb size stinks when it comes to aftermarket options.
If you can find a Catz Zeta system for our size (if they make one), you can have HID like lighting with regular bulbs.

they may need a little adjusting in and down for 07 and back headlights....there are some screws that adjust them............in my 08 projectors i have left them as is.........they cutoff at about 3 feet off the ground........and not too bad on the side glare........much brighter though to see at night........although I am worried about foggy days.......I wonder if they are too bright for good visability in the fog.........

BZinn1, when you say 3 feet off the ground, how far are you from the wall or whatever youre measuring?
Will adjusting the headlights to aim down really help that much with glare? I dont think so?

People, please don't put HID's in stock lights. For the sake of all safety here, and your wallet.
I don't want to read about head-on collisions or ticket write-ups on SL because you people keep doing this!
The SAFE and LEGAL way would be buying a set of bright halogen bulbs. Sylvannia is a popular brand to go with and there are already a few threads up with pics of their Silverstars installed on tC's. Let me find one for ya:

( i know how to adjust my headlight.. i did it on bought car... now noone flashes at me when im using the truck...

4300k to 5000k I believe gives you the best output. Anything above that, your losing on output.
As far as retrofitting goes, thats taking a stock HID projector system from another vehicle (popular choices are S2000, Acura TSX) and modifying your housing to fit those instead of the reflectors. It gives you great creative license and you can go any direction u want with it.
