Sunday, November 11th at Raceway Park - Street Wars 3 - Imports vs Domestics.

Munch & I went to the first one. Let's close out the year right!

Who's with me? Who's racing? It doesn't matter if you're turboed or stock - it's bracket racing so you race within your class!

Event info:


Gates open at 8AM. You'll need to get there early so you can go through tech inspection, prep your car, and do the time trials - you get 3 runs.

Racers: If you're racing you must go to tech inspection. I know for some of you it's your first time racing the 1/4 mile, and things will be confusing. You will receive a blue card that you must fill out your name, address, driver's license, and some car info. They'll write your car number on the card and write the appropriate info on your windshield and side window, plus assign you your staging lanes.

Helmets: If you're slower than 14.00, a half-shell helmet (like I have and everyone uses on the 1/8th mile at ScionVIP) will be fine. If you do not have a helmet, you can rent one. It's only a couple bucks but they have a limited supply.

Spectators: I think you can park with the rest of us. I'll try to find us a staging area so we can stay together.

There will be food and drinks for sale, but it's not cheap or particularly good.. so if you can, bring your own.

i think i may go but not race. I hit a pot hole and my s-pipe is not doing so well. Newark sucks!!!

 

I just picked up the same s-pipe as you and man did my exhaust sound changed a lot
