Anyone with an Optima Baterry
i am about to put in a a new sound system into my 08 tC, is this something that will benefit my system, also is it a good battery regarding powering the overal car..starting wise
Good thing about the battery is if you ever flip your car over, you know et least your battery is fine.
But seriously they are good batteries, If you get it from Auto zone you have a 3 year free replacement warranty with an 8 year difference charge warranty. And its not a liquid acid its more of a gel so you don't have to worry about leaks or corrosion.

btw u posted this in the wrong section, ICE and interior would be a better fit since it has to do with electronics.
Optima batteries hold charge better and would be a great upgrade for systems needing alot of power. They aren't necessary though.

if you put a wanging system in your car u might wanna consider a second battery like kinetics so your system runs off its own battery. Kinetics is one of the brands out htere the only one i remember off hand. but there batters have a faster recharge rate
