Rear Wiper Removal?
Has anyone removed their rear wiper? Is there a DIY on it? I did it on my first gen, but it looks a little different on the second gen. Anyone that has some info, if you could please give me some pointers, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm going to be installing a review camera in the wiper hole on Saturday and want it to go as smoothly as possible. Thanks in advance.
I'm actually curious where moderators are at on this side of the forum.
IMO, there should be a couple sticky's about things like this and other things like on the tC forum, xB1 forum, and xA forum.

It is pretty basic.
Remove the cover at the base of the arm to find the bolt that holds the arm on. Remove that bolt and pull firmly to remove the arm.
Remove the plastic interior piece on rear hatch
There will be 2 bolts to remove and a plug to detach and the motor is out.
There are many options for plugging the hole Every thing from a rubber grommet and a nickel to a backup camera. I used a 1" hole plug I found at home depot. You could color match it with a can of touch up paint.

Ok... so it was super easy! That rear hatch panel just pulls right off. Here's some pics of the install.
Here's the navi

Here's the back-up camera

No rear wiper...

Which part of the site? Utahscions I presume?
The meet pics? Gimmie a link.
And to Whispaz, it seems like the camera fits in really well, just the back of the car is angled so much it's hard to get it to point more downward without it protruding more than it already does. If midgethearsexb wanted something sticking out, I'm sure he would've kept the stock wiper. It already has an angled washer on it to point it down.
It shoots at about crotch height...
