Default 08 xB sun visor

Anyone else have a problem with the 08 xB sun visor? If you push it against the door window it only covers the front half of the window. I have to lean forward to get out of the sun. Why didn't they use an extending visor?

It's little things like this that were figured out ages ago that are somehow missing in my xB. A second arm rest for the passenger? A less obvious iPod connect or somewhere to hide it from thieves?

I sent an email complaint and got a "thank you for your concern" reply.

Still it is a great box.

it happens but they cant get everything right the first time... or at least they dont want to.
leave things out on the 1st year to make it seem as though the future years improved more than they really did

Last post on this. They called me back after sending an email complaint. I was happy to hear they called so I called them back immediately. Unfortunately it was another "Thank you for your comments, we will keep them on file to better our service. Good bye."

I think it is a hazard if you cannot shield the sun from your face. But.......

Inadequate? Yes! Possible road hazard? Maybe... That's what sunglasses are for. If you can't see... slow down!

Just swap the HU out and put the connector in the glove box. It also frees up space for the center console. I just left my stock connector and now it looks like I just don't have an iPod hooked up at all.

Sorry to unearth the old thread, but I had a question about how window visors are "inserted" into the roof or liner? Would I, for instance, be able to take a visor from my wife's nissan armada (extender built into visor) and install it in my Gen2 xB?

Or maybe I need to buy a spare visor, cut it open along the "seam" and them install some low-tech extender with some type of locking arm?

Any thoughts?

Windshield tint strip solves that issue and sunglasses.
