Default parking // help

while backing up and parking my car as i turn my wheel more and more i get this annoying vibration on my steering wheel that always happens when im either idle and parking and just turning my steering wheel, im figuring it is my ball joint because as i drive and come over a little pothole my car feels like im going to lose control.... anyone get this problem too? help me pleasee =)

well, when turning the steering wheel at a stop or low speeds, your powersteering is helping you turn the wheel. i think that is the vibration your talking about.

as for your ball joint, i drove my explorer for months with a busted ball joint, it just made alot of creaking noises, but it never felt like i was losing control.

as for losing control when hitting a pothole...your not supposed to hit pot holes duh, you avoid them. when you hit a pothole one of your wheels loses traction, so that is why your handling gets kinda fishy. just keep both hands on the wheel and keep an eye out for pot holes.

Isn't that vibration due the power steering pump working too hard?
