^^^ SOLD but check the last post! WHOO HOO!
Cars in NC are expensive... so this seemed wierd... mayb cuz of the mods?
What u guys think?
daneisthegreatest 10-26-2007, 07:33 PM dont seem too bad...all depends if you like the kit and all thats on it...but all in all thats not a bad price for that...could possibly talk them down to 10 if you try hard enough....
Andrew1782 10-26-2007, 07:35 PM Actually seems right on to me. Xb's in CA are borderline crazy. The new Gen 2's are 17 and today I saw several for 15900 and they were 2 years old! WTF!?
mtxblau 10-26-2007, 07:40 PM That's a pretty decent price, actually. That body kit looks pretty nice (and I'm generally not a fan of body kits). Never understood the removing of the rear wiper thing, though.
FlakoFigZ 10-26-2007, 07:46 PM Actually... I DO like the fake fab kit....
I can already imagine...
[Dealer]"YOU WANT LESS THAN THAAAT????"
[FlakoFigZ]"ummmmmm... dude the back wiper's missing, and you expect ME to pay 11 grand for a car that falling apart?!"(Though secretly I was gonna do that mod anyway...)
emximer 10-26-2007, 08:04 PM My scion was 6k baby!
But yeah that seems like a lot of miles for that price
FlakoFigZ 10-26-2007, 08:07 PM 6k?????!!!! how the heck u manage that? .....I say 9k is good for the scion.... but I doubt i'll get that low. :(
[EDIT] ..hehe just saw the xb slavage pro. link..
Sciond 10-27-2007, 01:02 AM his was salvage.....doesn't seem bad if you like the kit..my guess is that this is the end result of a car parted out
emximer 10-27-2007, 03:50 AM All in all I'd say that xB seems a little over priced, but if you like it and if you can go check it out to make sure it's in good shape than go for it. I'm pretty pleased with my xB which is also a manual. It's a little jerky to steer, but that may be because of the low tread on my tires and I've only driven it in the rain because its been raining none stop around here lately. Fun car to drive though, very pleased!
FlakoFigZ 10-27-2007, 04:01 PM thanks a much for the input.
xbox523 10-29-2007, 12:43 AM Just get a car fax report, remember that when you but it with 50,000 miles and have it for a couple of years its worth nothing but you still will owe!
burstaneurysm 10-29-2007, 03:27 AM 50k on a Toyota is nothing.
Spider13 10-29-2007, 11:14 AM I'll sell you mine for 12.5.
mtxblau 10-29-2007, 03:25 PM 50k on a Toyota is nothing.
It's a Toyota Echo engine... with proper maintenance it should surpass 300K pretty easily.
Spider13 10-29-2007, 03:33 PM My freind runs a used lot here. he sold an 04 for 7500. Nothing wrong with it except it smelled like feet.
bB2NER 11-17-2007, 05:47 PM How about an update? Did you end up buying that xB?
FlakoFigZ 11-17-2007, 07:40 PM ....well.. sorry about leaving u guys hangin'... (forgot about the post)...I took a look at the xB, thought about it and decided to wait. It already had some modifications done like it shows in the pics... but 50,000 miles kinda turned me off. Also, if I wait, i'll most likely find an untouched xB at the same or better price.
Don't worry... when I get it.. E V E R Y O N E will know.. O_O
Actually, I'm liking the panda look (white/black 8-6 corrola look).. So I'll wait for a PW box. After that Look out NC!
bB2NER 11-17-2007, 09:59 PM Good deal, no sense in jumping right in at the first one you find. Seeing as PW is one of the most common colors you should be able to find a bone stock version that will be your blank canvas.
Have you searched www.autotrader.com yet? They allow you to search for certain miles and colors.
FlakoFigZ 11-17-2007, 10:52 PM Yep... look on there every day... OK, more like every other day. Its a good site. only thing is the only other xBs in my area are 13K or more, and I can only afford 8 to 10 k.
bB2NER 11-18-2007, 04:10 AM Yep... look on there every day... OK, more like every other day. Its a good site. only thing is the only other xBs in my area are 13K or more, and I can only afford 8 to 10 k.Have you tried to hook up with someone that goes to auctions? You might find something in you budget.
FlakoFigZ 11-18-2007, 07:52 PM Don't know neone, but If I get a chance I'll look into it... Thanks
FlakoFigZ 11-24-2007, 06:30 PM ..They sold my first choice.... but here goes another one... I'm prob jumpin' on this one..... no mods, just crappy rims (or hubs?).
