Hey everyone,
I bought my car in '04 (1st gen tC) and I lowered it about a week after I had it. I went to get an alignment last week because I noticed I had some uneven tire wear. The rear camber is at -2.0 degrees on the left and -2.3 degrees on the right. My buddy does my alignment work at Firestone and he is saying he can't adjust the rear camber. He and the alignment specialist in the shop are saying that they can't get the bolts to move and that I'll need to get a camber kit to be able to fix the negative alignment.
I've read on the forums doing a search that other people were able to have their camber fixed after lowering with the TRD springs using the stock parts on the car (i.e. no aftermarket camber adjustment parts). Does anyone have any idea why they can't fix it on mine? They're not trying to up-sell me because they don't even sell the parts they're recommending I get, so I don't think they're bing dishonest with me.
Any thoughts? I've already paid for my alignment there, so I don't want to take it to Scion and pay for another alignment, but I may have to. That's a last resort.
Help! :)
