Thanks Brian for getting the poll together. It's much more democratic, plus its easier to see what everyone is leaning toward.

the scion symbol with the mn in the center....i was thinking we could put the on the front of the shirts/hoody and if we (cough **rich** cough) could come up with a image/logo (something with a xA, xB and a tC) for the shirt/hoody backs then we would be set to start the process of getting some stuff made

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking!! The symbol on the left chest of the front, and then whatever on the back BIG!

Thanks man, I'm from Birmingham, Alabama. Cast your vote for my design. Even though I don't live in MN I'd still like this design to win. Although I can't take full credit for it because I just altered the one that was already there. I would still like for it to win. Maybe it'll get me a free T-shirt. :D

your correct 5 was added i was asked to put it up and i agreed...5 would look better if the mn was taller and not so scrunched(sp)...plus is would be a better rear window decal than a windshield banner

I completely agree with the simplicity. and I do kinda like the number 5 for a banner of some type....

#5 was a really fast chopshop thing that only took about 3 minutes to do. It can be cleaned up and stretched and made less blury, it's just a prototype.

If we're trying to get our name out nobody is going to figure out 5 is supposed to represent mnSCIONS. I could hardly tell it was supposed to be an mn underneath.

Simplicity is definity the key.
Too much detail, color, or too many ideas put together ruins logos, along with three dimensionality. If it can't be recognized as 1/2 inch high it won't work (think keychain, pen, letterhead, fax, etc.)

Aw man, don't hate! I actually think some of yours are okay and seem to be coming off as a little upset that I am pushing the one with the MN underneath. I think it is very legible and I think you know it is too 8) . I have already said that it is just a quick prototype that needs to be cleaned up a little. IMO the MN underneath looks groovy stretched out. Looking at it you can tell what it is and then again it creates almost a frame underneath. Serving two purposes. Again, I may have taken what you wrote out of context and if I did I am sorry. :)

i don't think he was hating but i don't know...like i stated before the one you did would be good for a rear window graphic just becase of its ooverall shape...hey if you want make one thats cleaner and strech out the mn a little and im sure you'll get better reviews

I agree about simplicity. I stand by my original vote (#4). They are all good ideas, but I think that one is the most aesthetically appealing.

Again, just my $.02. Plus, I like that it was designed by a member of our club. Nothing against help from outside, it just makes it even more unique to "MNScions".

Back to the topic. I thought of a different logo design tonight while sketchin. I like it but I don't want to toot my own horn. If needed we may need to have another poll. No more logos though, I promise. Unless it is a touch-up. Thanks all yall for the opinions and comments. I love this place.

rich did those come in correctly...i think they look funny with the peaks hanging off the sides....if everything was centered that would look best (imho)

The last one you did looks good, with the scion emblem for the "o" it would be cool if you used that set-up with the mn under that like in choice number 5.

Has any decision been made? Did we pick an official logo yet?

Yea, the sticker would need to be attatched at all points. The text in the center might make that difficult. Good design though.

I beleive the final design was chosen. That doesnt mean we couldnt use it in the future though....
