today i bought and installed today a TRD exhaust thats in good shape and the best part is i scored it for only 50 buck!! i figured for only 50 bucks i couldn't go wrong

i know you only get like 2or 3whp out of it but i think just the sound alone over stock is worth the price ... the car actually sounds like its doing something now lol. im really excited i scored this for dirt cheap because im looking to keep everything TRD on my car and this deal helped out my pockets big time... next on my list is the rear sway and the intake.. if anyone has any deals on theses parts for the 07-08 let me know

Sweet buy, I'd take it two if I were in the same position.

But just FYI, I don't think you get any actual gain in power from the TRD exhaust, at least that's what I've been told time and time again on SL. It's a cosmetic only upgrade, but like I said: fifty bucks well spent in my book!

i think the last few guys were talking about intakes not exhaust GarmaZed. and yes i believe the TRD gives you very small gains as does any other axle backs but the power to price ratio isn't very good so people always say you get practically any power which is true. 2 or 3whp isn't much at all for $450 bucks. thats why people usually say don't waste your money on it.

onto how i managed to snag it for a killer price

i went to a local scion meet, we have then on Thursdays every other week. one of the guys i was talking to said he had a TRD exhaust he would like to get rid of. he had a full header back exhaust on his car but had purchased the TRD with the car a few years ago. he took it off after 30k for his current setup and its just been sitting around ever since, so i offered him 50 bucks and he agreed to the sale... i guess i lucked out

WTH?! 425 for an injen intake?! TRDsparks is one of the cheapest I've seen online and even comes with a bypass valve.

But I got mines from a local shop called RacingLabs, they were having a big ___ sale, it was all cash so basically no sales tax where involved =], they sold tein s-techs for $140 out the door too and i got my RS-1 lip from them for $100 flat.
