Default 15" Wheels

I'm considering getting smaller, lighter wheels for my coupe. Anybody have any recommendations? This is purely a performance based idea. Would the weight loss be worth it, do you think? I'd also get a coil-over kit to lower the car, in order to cover up the obvious gap in the fenders.

Anyone ever done this before?

IMO I think 15" are to small to actaully benefit from them, but Im sure that some 16" gramlights or rays, with some sticky rubber tires would get the job done, some toyo RA-1 or some Nittos, goodyear eagles, or any tire in that category of sportive/very sticky , but then again thats my opinion, Ive seen around where I live tC's with Steelies mixed with good tires and they launch better than the stock wheels but at higher speeds they become too loose for comfort Idk thats jut my .2 cents

Thanks for the help, I'm gonna look into pricing for the whole thing. Hopefully, I'll have this done by the Spring and no later. :S

cool post some pics when U're done, If it has gramlights or rays or some cool lighweight wheel , I go crazy over those, just remembered there are a few like the OZ little size wheels 16 preferabl which weight really low like 11, Enkei RPF1's check out enekei.com to see and when you decide on tirewall go with 50 those would look cool, but remember when you do this these wheels would be for the dragstrip or racing , but not street, you could slip an crash! :D Good Luck
