Hey everyone. I think I am starting to get hook'd on the tC. It all started yesterday when my friend was talking about it. But most of my friends hate the box and I don't know y. One of my friends wants an Element and tried to tell me that the xB is unsafe and I was like go to hell. Well to continue with my story, I am getting all sikked about the tC. Well my friend wants to get on and I is trying to convince him to get a tC instead of an F-1ugly. :lol: :lol: But I need help getting hook'd off the tC. I love the xB still. Looks like my mind is going for the tC. What should I do???? P.S. I told my friend who wants the tC to check out SL.com. And I told him how great the site was. werd. the Xb is slower but imo better. the tc is just another car. the xB IS another car

the tC is more of a chick car in my opinion...let the ragging begin

For me when getting a new car i had the choice of the xB or a corolla. of course i went with the xB, now and then i have thought about how i should've gotten the corolla, but then i just look out at my car and i like "def picked the right car" it just such a unique car, it def scores points with the chicks too.

I think the choice is clear, right now you're thinknig tCtCtCtC but you and I both know once you drive it off the lot you are going to turn your head and see a BOP and remember where you hearts really at..

get the xB.......in whatever case always do you....

I like the xB because of head room, storage, gas mileage, etc. I drive it 50 miles a day and love the ride in traffic. I also like it because it looks different than any other vehicle on the road, even the half-plastic Element.

Either way you getting Toyota backed mechanics.

Is the xb getting boring or are you wanting more power? After something new? Only ask because the only major things the xb and tc have in common is manufacturer and are under $20k.

I thought about a tC. It had a lot of features, but I also had an 2000 Eclipse previously, so... when I thought about it, buying a tC would basically give me everything I hated about the Eclipse. No headroom, no backseat legroom, no cargo space = no room for friends. The tC has a lot of value for what it is, but I think that for the price, the xB gives you even more. I paid $20K for my Eclipse about 4 years ago and for about the same price, you can get a tC with the same features, similar displacement engine, as well as an option for a supercharger.

However, if you're going to mod your car... which I'm assuming you will... the xB has a starting price tag around $14 (which is what I paid). If you figure that you're going to go with custom wheels, custom stereo, etc, then you don't need to add on the 6-disc changer or the bazooka tube... or the TRD wheels. That's an extra $3-6k for mods you've just freed up. Plus, the xB has the perfect shape for stereo equipment...

So now the question is: Do you want a stock tC or do you want a heavily modded xB?

If you want a "rattle free car" - stick with the xB- the xB is no Lexus, but what I heard (from test driving the tC)- the xB is just as quiet on the roads, and has ALOT less rattles!!

No one Fiero three engines on the same manufacture's defect. Coolant leaking into the oil.

I don't have an xB yet or a tC. I don't even have a car period. I am just choosing what to get. I like the tC cuz of the way it looks, and it standard features. If you want a sunroof for the xB u will end up paying at least $1,000!! That's a lot. But when I get an xB they will be played out. But my mom says stick with the xB. It's different she says. I think the same. Thanks for all the help. But can u give more ideas. I know maybe I shouldn't have put this in the xB forum but it was aimed towards xB drivers. I want to stick with Scion though. xB is the wildest car on the road IMO. I see other cars that look good but they don't get near the attention that the xB gets. My Mother has a Cadillac CTS and an Escalade both white diamond or pearl white or whatever Cadillac calls their version of white...Anyway ,she and I were talking about how cool her cars are and she was ragging me about mine. Telling me how much cooler hers was than mine and I was like, let's park them side by side in a parking lot and see how many people look into my windows and say "whut's thayat?" and "Wow! That's neat-o!" What I am trying to get at is the xB is it's own car! BMWs look good, Cadillacs look good, but NOTHING is an xB! Look into your screen and say it with me... I WANT THE BOX, I WANT THE BOX! Come on, you can do it! :twisted:

Look like you are still leaning towards the xB. If you wern't, you most likely would not have asked the question in this forum. Get the BOX, you will be able to find it in ANY parking lot. You can walk right past all the Hondas and Satuns and all the other cars that look like the tC....

I DON'T HAVE AN xB YET!!!! I just have a lot of xB merchandise. I will get an xB don't worry. :wink: Just not in the next year. You peeps should get the Dub City xBs. I AM!!! They are on there way.After they come I am gonna get the Import Racer xBs. :wink:

I got my Hot Lava Dub City xB last week and love it. It's on my desk at work :D

The Scion brand = xB

No one would even care about the Scion brand if it didn't have that funky looking, eye catching little box... Imagine it this way... the Scion brand introduction with the xA and tC..... "YAWN" Then a couple of years later, the new scion comes out... the "xB" :shock: 'WOW! I want one!' People would be trading in their tC's in no time!

I personally think tC owners are too afraid to make the bold leap into owning an xB, but would rather just get a boring, Camry-like car while still basking in the glory of the box, and jumping on the Scion brand bandwagon...

I the area that I live, I have been looking REAL HARD to spot a tC. I have seen all 4 of the xB's and the 2 xA's that are around without any trouble. But as far as the tC, I'm still not sure if I've seen one. Maybe I have, and not registered it 'cause m'brain says "no wait, that's a HONDA" LOL

But today, I have to say, I have fianally seen one. It is silver and the driver works at a boat builder. Looks OK from the road, but I had to pass it twice before I spotted it.

LESSON: You want to be noticed, good or bad, get an xB. You want to blend... then it's tC all the way buddy....
