View Full Version : Does the 2008's middle rear brake light still light up MLSAllstar 11-07-2007, 03:46 PM I was on a website today that had a picture of the scion from the rear view and it doesn't show the brake light in the middle illuminating. I was just wondering if anybody has noticed this or if the pictures incorrect. Car manufacturers are legally required to have third brake lights on all new cars, but there is no law stating that an individual can be punished in any way for not having one. Now, with that said, you actually can be ticketed if you have one but it does not work. However, simply not having one at all is not an offense.
