Default N/A & F/I build parts availibility.

Let's try to get people to post what parts are available for the 1NZ-FE. It would make it easier for people who want to build their motor. I'm not talking about bolt on's either. Post up pistons, rods, sleeves, valvetrain etc... Post up anything we can find guys, I want to make this detailed, and correct so it would eventually becom stickied...

Saw your other post for Intakes & TBs for the xb. something to look at http://www.extrudabody.biz/servlet/StoreFront.

On another note: If you think you want to do an NA I have 2 TWM 40mm twin TBs that I was going to use on my NOS car but I used 2 40mm Webers instead ( no electronics ). If interested shoot me a pm, I'd love to see someone use them.

your going custom or nothing. 1nz-fe has minimal parts for n/a builds.

f/i you don't have that many parts as you do kits. Greddy, P/E, Zpi (if you can find one) and a few others have kits.

ATF coolers for automatic's by blitz, P.E, rumors of TRD but i never found crap for it, so i i doubt theres anything unless its TRD Japan.

When i had my xb it was 95% custom parts.

I read some threads about the prius pistons. Has anyone confirmed that these will drop in. I see this as the only cost effective N/A internal mod because there are a couple of swaps that could be done pretty cheaply . The pistons are about 40-50 each,plus rings gaskets, etc.

Completely different? Valve interference? Different pin?

Please explain why a Prius piston won't go into the 1NZ block.

Hi there, The Prius Pistons will fit into the 1nz-fe block, i know because i have one of each engine, however i'm not certain what the valve clearance is like with the fe cam timing.

The prius engine has forged rods wich runs 13:1 compression so with a sorted throttle body intake and exhaust so on high octane race fuel would make an absolute monster! 150+ hp NA.

Brad =)
