Default What fuses to tap for power?

I'm still searching for this info, but figured I'd ask as well.

I need more than one power outlet and don't want to plug in a multi-adapter because it get in the way of the auto shifter handle when in Park.

In my truck, I hard wired a Bell multi terminal adapter to one of my fuses. That adapter is mounted out of site and I then hardwired different accessories into that adapter.

I'm sure plenty of you guys have tapped in a fuse to add other outlets and accessories and wanted to know which fuses you used?

Thanks.

ran my wire directly to the battery...

it will also matter if you want them on all the time or switched on and off with the car

im pretty sure that in my xb there are 4 empty fuses that all have power...i believe that the bottom right hand one is constant and all the others are on the accessory switch...if you just plug into any one of those you will be able to get power for anything...just use a voltmeter and see what has power
as for my car i got an accesory fuse panel from a cop car...i can wire that into the battery and run like things off of it i think...its also setup that i can have some of them on the accessory switch and some with power constantly...i have an extra one if anybody is interested...heres the link to the ebay auction i won it off of

by the way...im down by ocean city which is only like an hour from you...if you need a hand with that stuff you can stop by

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to have to map out exactly what I'm going to want power for. There will be some items that I'd want constant power to when plugged in, like cell phones and my PocketPC for charging when the Xb is off.

Other items like lighting I'd want switched so I control the power and still others I'd want no power to when the Xb is off...like my daughter's portable DVD player, etc.

I haven't even owned the Xb for a week, so I'm going to have to get used to it and see what I really need/want to do.
