it goes on the rear bumper to stop it from melting. anyone have pix or even have it?

 

I just ordered mine last week. I should be getting it this week, but my friend I had order for me isn't home until Saturday. I'll probably have pics this weekend or coming week.

excuse the fitment.... i was in a rush and didnt spend enough time on it (stuck the bottom on first, so i couldnt get it on properly)

did u buy it off ebay for 80 bucs? exhaust looks good with it bro. does it just stick on?

 

yeah, mine is version 2. it can just stick on, but you can also bolt it on.

 

i have one got scared of the 3m tape that it might fall off in the long run so i just riveted them they look soooooo much better riveted have pix tomorrow....

 

Is the picture really how it fits? Or was that just to show how it looks?

 

Does the riveting make holes in the bumper? I'd like to rivet mine in, but I'm worried about making holes I'll regret later.

 

i've seen one guy actually hold it into his to make it look flush mounted and others have rivets or bolts or 3m, so its basically your preference on how you want it to go on.

 

if u read my post, i didnt take enough time and the bottom stuck on first before the side. but itll be fixed soon.

 

Well, I finally got it in the mail today! The fitment is a little rough, so I'll file down the sides and form it a little. I'm a little nervous riveting it in, so I'll probably use 3M tape and the bolts/screws included with the guard. Pictures later!

they make cf body kits?!?!!? when did that happen?

 

I have one and i used two bolts to secure the bottom tightly to the bottom of the bumper and used 3M doublesided tape around the top and it fits extremely snug....Pics are in profile

 

yes it does make holes if u riveted it..but tis worth it when u see...

 

not sure ifyou were joking or being serious but CF body kits have been around a while. Cynce's body kit i believe is a CF, and there are also CF lip kits as well. (between body kits, hood and trunk you can practiaclly make your car carbon fiber.
