Default MORE SNOW!?! April 25th+20" of snow

THIS SUCKS! It's times like this i wonder why i live in alaska? The trees were just getting ready to bloom leaves, and it snowed... LOTS In this one storm we got 20+inches of snow!!! on the 25th of april no less! I'll post pics in the morning

BTW the xb did great esp, considering i just took my winter tires off and put my summers on. at one point the snow was so deep it was hitting the front of my car and piling up onto my hood and over my windshield, that sucked, but i made it all the way home, my neighbors couldnt make it the last quarter mile down the road, in their focus, golf, and van.

(if anyone else has any new snow pics of there xb post em up.)

OLD PICS:

I left my house for about six hours when i left it was barely snowing and when i got back there was a foot, and i don't even have studs yet. It was snowing sooo hard it was crazy the roads were horrible but... my xB did great especially since i didn't even have studded tires yet, as i already mentioned. I was plowing snow once i got off the main road where the snow plow hadn't been, but my xB just kept on trucking right through.

heres a couple of pics there not real great but ehh, it was late, and cold and wet, and my camera sucks, so what are you going to do, right.

Yeah I'm in Alaska so snow usually comes middle of beginning to middle of October. This is just our first large amount we got about seven inches already just in inch at a time storms.

FYI, this guy really wanted his xB. That dealer is in Burien Washington. That's even south of where I live.

With as much snow as you get, you're going to have to remember where you park it because you're not going to see it. Maybe you should have gotten something a little darker.

The xB handles excellently on the snow and icy roads, even though the tires that came on it seriously suck. I was surprised how well it did in deep snow considering i was plowing it. The VSC can interfere a little to much on mostly slushy and some snow stuff, but i guess your supposed to turn it off for that anyway. i only turn it of when i am at low speeds getting out of my drive way and stuff.

Well if you mean like normal city stuff heres some pics of downtown anchorage.

But most people come to alaska for the "wildness" of it, there is a WHOLE LOT of alaska that has never been touched. some people like that, my family actually owns a halibut charters business south of anchorage heres a link http://www.bighalibut.com

So strange how AK creeps its way into places when I least expect it, thanks for the pics!
I miss flattop mtn. .
Lived in Anchorage for 6 years, having the Chugach out my window is something I miss the most!
