Default TC vs. 1 Sheet of Drywall - Road debris story

I was going up a bridge this morning at about 75 mph and the car in front of me kicks up this full sheet of drywall. By the time I saw it and swerved (not a lot of room with the wall next to me), the friggin thing was standing straight up! It wacked the hell out of my driver's sides mirror and busted it into two. My mirror is a little scratched, but I'm gonna try to buff it out. I'm surprised it didn't break off.

Any other road debris stories?

dood that blows. what road or freeway? (see your in jax)

i have a road debris story.. was in my accord, though.
i was driving on 295 south and was passing the state trooper nest right before the buchman. a truck with a cargo tow full of 2x4s was driving in the lane next to mine. one of the pieces of lumber flies off the truck and shatters my front headlight.

...um... was driving on buchman 295 north and towards the top was sitting a wooden chair. wtf? that was a couple of weeks ago. hehe

florida has tons of road debris. visitors and residents be careful!

does a cat count as road debris? j/k.

Luckily i was driving slow last nite, a stray kitten darted out onto the road, I slammed on the brakes... the tc and the cat are okay. Glad I didn't hit the lil' cat, I haven't put my mudguards on yet! j/k... j/k... I'm a cat owner, I swear.

Jax is famous.. er infamous... for miscellaneous raod debris. Hell, one of the local stations even has a part of their show called "what's in the road".

This was southbound 9A at the top of the Dames Point bridge.. yeah, of course the biggest freakin one in the city.

I drive it every day. Usually see lawn chairs, coolers, mattresses, saw a pick-up bed liner once, and and I think the best yet was a gigantic powder mix (looked like it's used to make paint because of the way it stained) all over the northbound side at the top.

A bird nearly hit my windshield head on. I hate to be pulling its beak out of my windshield.

yes, once driving on i-4 behind a pick-up truck, i watched the bed liner come off and fly towards my car. i ended up braking pretty hard. luckily the wind was blowing strong, and it went off into the median. it was scary. :?

Scratch one squirrel. No damage to xB! Slight cleaning job.
