i had just reset my ecu(disconnected the battery temporarily) and everything is fine when i turn the car on, except i do not know how to reset my windows and sunroof....please help!

 

Do you have a manual? It is in there.

Roll window down a bit, close it and hold the switch up for a couple of seconds.

 

roll it all the way down n back up thats how i reseted mine n lexus is the same way

 

As long as you hold the switch down after it is all the way closed like I mentioned above.

 

im about to intall an intake into scion tc why do i have to reset my windows and how? please give me a more detailed instruction (im an idiot)

 

step 1
turn the key in the ignition to 'on'.

step 2
on the driver's side control, push down (do not use 'one-touch' down) the power window switch for the driver's side window and lower the window halfway.

step 3
pull up (do not use 'one-touch' up) the power window switch until the window closes and hold the switch for *at least* a few seconds.

step 4
repeat these steps for the passenger side window on the passenger door window control. the windows should now open and close like they should.

This is why they have owners manuals all the information is in there.
