View Full Version : Street Scene mesh?
rocketpants 10-28-2004, 02:13 AM Are there any companies coming out with a grille similar to the Street Scene ones for the tC?
http://i23.ebayimg.com/02/i/02/b0/22/29_1_b.JPG (that one is for the xterra :P )
Or, does anyone know erhe I can get a grille mesh like that and just cut it out myself ?
Most of the grilles i found on eBay are too "closely knitted" for my taste
v0lc0m85 10-28-2004, 02:21 AM check some body kit websites, usually they sell a sheet of mesh in like any color you want. sorry but i cant think of any sites of the top of my head. u can just cut it your self. i did it with my old civic, but for it to look good u gotta take out the old grill, not just over lay it.
Home Depot! I've used the gutter gaurd stuff to make custom mesh grills a couple times now, i'm actually heading out to get some to make a gill for my tC right now. This a really low priced alternative and you can paint it any color you want.
Su1c1da1 10-28-2004, 03:09 AM i'm liking those grilles..

Now why would you want to go and ghetto out a new car? :?

Phaze23LBC 10-30-2004, 07:43 PM You might want to try and get a hold of somebody at Grillcraft out here in Hawthorne, Cali. They have some nice grills for the Xb out already but I haven't seen any yet for the TC. Give them a call at (310)970-0300 or check out their website at :
www.grillcraft.com
I went and got my grillcraft grills from www.NAmotoring.com and spent a lot less money going through them, and just picked up the grills directly from grillcraft myself, thus saving even more money because i X'ed out the shipping cost.

Vettin_Man 11-15-2004, 01:40 AM Grillcraft is coming out for a tC grille by mid-Dec. Just talked to them Friday.

it doesn't look ghetto, does it? I just don't want to pay up to $30 for some mesh you can buy for $1.50.

Personally, I wouldn't do it; however, Drywall Mesh is the exact same "KUSTOM Grille Mesh!!!" you can buy from a bodyshop/online for 40.00 or more.
Or, you could go through GrillCraft for a few hundred dollar kit.
Only real difference is, Drywall mesh will run you about $4.50 for 8 feet.
scionracerxb 03-15-2005, 10:33 PM just got back from getting the first ever XB street scene grille installed. you might want to call them up, and ask if they're interested in doing one for the tc.

CHICO 03-16-2005, 02:29 AM I like the grill on the V2 Limited edition Xb, they should make some like that, powder coated in black, for the tC.

CHICO 03-16-2005, 02:34 AM I think the grill would look better in black.
