Default headrests in backseats...

hey everyone, i just spoke to a shop about headrests in my backseats...is it illegal to put them in the rear backseats? the ones that face out to the trunk of your xB? i've seen a few on a few cars. but is it illegal? also, if you have a unit that has the ability to play dvd's from the front unit to the back head rests would it be better to do it that way? or to have a seperate dvd player to run the dvd's on the headunit?

I assume you are talking about monitors in your backseats. Not headrests. Its not illegal but if your pumping porno through them then I believe the just passed a law saying you can't do that.

If you head unit plays DVDs the use that. No need to put one in the back as well unless you think people are going to want to watch something different in the backseat as apposed to the front seat. And in this case your going to run into audio problems. Ho wis someone in the back goign to listen to a different movie as the person in the front?

What, so watching **** makes you a man? I don't think so. Trust me, I'm a man. I'm also a father. And if I were driving with my wife and son and some car was around me in traffic with **** playing on it's monitors where my family could see it, I would be ____ed. If someone wants to watch that trash, it's up to them. But you don't drive down a public road displaying it to kids.

On the real, you shouldn't blast **** out of your windows. That's just rude, nahmsaying?

You shouldn't have a problem if you don't do anything dumb. Maybe you could get a cover for them while you're driving or something.

Calm down tiger. I was just kidding. It was pretty obvious you were a father with children. Which is understandable why you wouldn't want to see that.

Sorry if I came off as a little irritated. I knew you were just kidding. That wasn't directed at you. I just can't believe that some people would actually do that and not see a problem with it.

Cool Personally I wouldn't care but if I had children in the car then I would feel the same.

I'm in agreement on the no porno visable to the out side, however, I was driving home a couple weeks ago with just the wife and I in the car. We pulled up next to a guy in a suburban with porno clearly visible on the monitors (all three). We drove along next to him for a few miles so the wife could watch. Had a good time when we got home. Wouldn't want that to happen with the kid in the car though.

my original thread was not about ****. someone else brought that up. i was just curious if it was illegal to have your lcd screen running on the rear back back seats...where your passengers sit, and not at the shotgun seat.
