yeah, i'm sure all those flexing ridges aren't causing anykind of excess turbulance that is messing up the air flow into the engineand that tape is totally going to hold up to some of those hot under hood temperatures without melting and coming off letting anything and everything into the MAF...

i think this was a bad idea.

at shucks you can always buy the DIY intake tubing... that has to at least be a bit better. Right?

funny cuz this tubing was made for intakes....and funny cuz that tape has been there for a good 3 months..and ive been through serious conditions and the tape is fine...as for leaking in..dude thaqt tape has no way of getting in

dont know who u mistake me as but yes i no the fake like turbonators dont work...they would never save gas or give enough spooling power to be of any benifit...and even if they put a decent amount of air in the engine with the stock ecu the air/gas ratio would take effect and u would just burn more gas with no gains

HAHA I think that answers who I have mistaken you for... They have so much spooling power that it actually INHIBITS the air from entering the engine. Not that it cant get more air in, it just stops air from going in.

As for A/F ratio... why have some guys gone with a stage 0 turbo, still on the stock ecu and getting about over 200 hp... no gains there...

thats a whole different ball game...yes they get power...but notice...that if the reflash their ecu or chip they would get even bigger gains....

running a turbo with the stock ecu is not the smartest thing to do...if u didnt know ud be running with alot of air and the gas would not be balanced so have fun bogging out and stuff

You seriously couldn't have just waited and made like a CAI savings fund? Id rather leave my car stock for a month or more to save up for a real CAI than put some ghetto rigged thing inside my car.
