The short answer is it really depends on what you want.
I am most interested in handling, so springs, swaybar, strut bar, chassis stiffeners, wheels/tires, etc... are my first priority.
If straight line performance is your priority, then intake, exhaust, turbo/supercharger, lightened parts (flywheel, pulleys, etc.) and the list goes on.
If initial eye pop is important then go with graphics and body kit.
If sounds are your thing go with in dash LCD, headrest LCD, DVD player, subs, etc...
Like I said, it really depends on what you want.

tC's are lucky, they got cool wheels right out of the gates. So the first thing that needs adressing is the stance, a 2 inch drop is in order to give it the proper attitude. After that start saving for the turbo or SC. ENJOY AND CONGRATS!
i already have my list ready when i get my tC
1:tint windows (dark to match the BSP)
2:lower it 1.8" & upgrade suspension
3:Wheels and tires.
4:CF hood & (maybe the CF trunk too. would that be too much CF and look ricer?)
5:S2K antenna.
get it looking really HOT then start under the hood work

Suspension should always come 1st IMO. What good is 300hp if you can't do anything with it? If you're sure that you're going turbo I wouldn't do any engine upgrades unless they'll help down the road.

I paid about $450 for my parts from mcgeorges.com and another $250 for install.
ok stupid question time...
if i bought the trd springs online, could i then take them to any mechanic to get them installed (because i am mechanically challenged). would it void my warranty, or does the fact that they're trd preserve the warranty?

yes, yes, and no.
long answers...
yes, you can have anyone put them on.
yes it will void the warranty, but only on the parts affected, i.e. things not done by the dealer. it will not affect the warranty on anything other than what you've had done. I for one am not the least worried about the warranty on my suspension.
no, see above.
