MR2 owner in need of some stereo help
Hey Scion people! I've got a '01 MR2 with a 06 Scion tC stereo installed (2-**** iPod)
Now, it works great...it was a very simple install, no extra wiring, cutting, splicing...nothing...BUT I would like to hook up the steering wheel controls to the head unit so that I don't have to reach around my shifter to change songs.
If someone would be so kind as to help me out, since I don't have a steering wheel from a Scion...
What I need is for the resistance value's (using a multi-tester) of 2 pins on the back of the stereo, connector R18, pins 6 and 7, with each of the buttons pressed one at a time.
So...
Resistance value with no buttons pressed:
Resistance with volume up pressed:
Resistance with volume down pressed:
Resistance with track up button pressed:
Resistance with track down button pressed:
And if you have just another few minutes
Connector R18, pins 5 and 6...
Resistance with no buttons pressed:
Resistance with mode button pressed:
I'll even throw in $5 via Paypal if someone can help me out, THANKS!
