Pulley-perf vs work and sway bar vs springs
The Perrin pulley is spoken of highly on here and I haqve looked at the DIY install for it and it seems like a lot of work and potentially a lot of frustrating times as far as getting the car back together-is is worth the work for the advantage?
I want a 1 inch drop (1.5 might even be too much) and so I am looking into that but I can feel the understeer as well and know a rear sway bar would definitely help.
The drop looks cool so that helps but the performance matters more-so sway bar vs springs-what do you guys think is a better choice?

Do both the springs and rear bar. If you can only do one for improved handling go with the bar first. The spring do very little to level the car during hard corners. I ran the stock spring for awhile with my Whiteline bar and it was virtually the same as with the lowering springs.
I saw so many people saying the pulleys helped but I kinda wondered about the inertia as well and then I saw the install threads-what a pain.
That's cool that you did the sway bar first-sounds like it worked out for you about how I figured, with the sway bar doing more.
Thanks

it took me less than half an hour to do the pulley. and Id say it's worth it.
oh and this was with hand tools too.
sway bars(actually rear axle stiffeners) are great too , i've had mine on for years.

I installed a pulley on mine and could tell a nice difference in the performance. I don't remember how long it took to install because it's been a while since I did it. The biggest problem I had was breaking the bolts free on the alternator. I think they have an 800 lb. gorilla torquing those.

Autozone carries the Energy bushings that can be used up front. They are red and come with the washers. All you have to add are the bolts. There is a thread about the mod in the suspension forum
