Default Help with my HID....

I am using McCULLOCH 8000K HID for a year and half on my 07 tc...a few days ago, the left side headlight started blinking, and also it was off once when i was driving, but i turned it off and turned on again. it worked. however, after i turned on like 1 to 2 mins, it starts blinking again... is there anyone know what is the problem...help me please... thanksssssss

thats a sign of it dying out..just replace it

switch the bulbs around to see if its a new bulb or ballast that your gonna need...

shouldn't the bulbs last more than a year and a half? what bout ballast? I am wanting to get HID's but I don't wanna have to replace bulbs every year and a half or so.

well im sure it depends on the kit, in my experience i had a bad ballat but never had to replace a bulb in almost a year now

I just tired up the cables...it didnt start to blink when i just drove for about 40mins... i hope the blinking is gone...or i believe the problem is the kit...

I had a similar problem with my kit. My problem was that the connectors that go into the stock harness was not making a clean connection. I just tighened the connection and i have had no problems.

Switch the bulbs and if only that same side is giving trouble, then more than likely it is the connection. Sometimes it can get loose over time.

had the same problem as well, it was my connectors too, I was going crazy cus i thought it was the ballast, but those things are pretty tough, check the connector, if thats the issue, then its a quick and easy fix
